These are 25 worksheets covering Component 2, Topic 1 (1.1 Health, 1.2 Sedentary lifestyles and 1.3 Diet, Optimum Weight) for the new spec GCSE course for Edexcel. There are answers for some worksheets (answers for all 3 crosswords), card sorts, athletes optimal weight cards, chefs table plate, crosswords and answers, and fill in tables, fill in the blanks and question sheets.
There is a homework question booklet AND the answer booklet to go with the questions in the same order.
The question booklet is a 79 page word document that I have used as a homework booklet for Component 2 of the Edexcel GCSE PE course (new spec from 2016).
The first pages has a list of hwk, due date, teacher comment boxes, then an index, with a marking policy info page.
There are past paper questions in order from Topic 1 Health, Topic 2 Sport Psychology, then Topic 3 Socio-Cultural. After each sub topic there is a FAR marking sheet, a blank page for extra questions and a student RAG rate sheet to see how they found the questions on each particular topic.
There are also six 9 mark questions in certain topics (as not all topics have had a 9 marker yet!!) with 9 mark guidance and a breakdown of the AO1, AO2, AO3 markscheme format.
There are also blank sheets for FAR marking (for peer assessment) if your school does that!!
There is also an ANSWER booklet (86 pages long) too that shows what the marks are awarded for, for every single question. Just in case like me you forget things!!!
These are past paper questions for Component 2 of the Edexcel new spec GCSE (9-1) PE course. They are in topic order from Topic 1 (Health & fitness & well being), Topic 2 (sport psychology) and Topic 3 (socio-cultural issues). Included are the questions from the pre-released specimen paper, 2018 , 2019, 2020AND THE LATEST 2021 paper.
Good to see what kind of questions come up regularly to see what trends the exam boards use!! I use them as a homework booklet and for any intervention work I might be doing on a particular topic.
The answers for all of the questions are included too in the same order as the questions under the year of the paper, on a separate word document. Just in case you want to check the answer!! Or give to pupils for peer assessment.
